Proof that the world could end!!
I am obsessed with the number 666; it is an obsession so great that one
would think my destiny were tied to it. This obsession began when I learned
how to count to 1,000 at the age of four. That was long before I became
aware of its significance in the prophecies contained in Revelation 13:18.

After a life-long study of this number I have wanted to put my discoveries
about it down in writing so as to warn all Christians, and even
non-Christians, of the earth-shaking events that will take place starting
in the year 1998, the year that the Rapture will take place and the events
leading to the end of the world will begin. Although this prophecy may seem
far-fetched to you, when you finish reading this little tract, I have no
doubt that you will share my view that these events will inevitably take
place and that they are derivable from the properties of 666.

Speaking of events, the event that actually made me sit down and start
writing this tract was rather mundane. One evening, I was thumbing through
David Wells' excellent little book entitled The Penguin Dictionary of
Interesting and Curious Numbers. However, I was a bit taken aback when I
looked at his entry for the number 39. According to Mr. Wells, this is the
"first uninteresting number."

To a numerologist, such as myself, who regards all numbers as sacred, this
statement was blasphemous. It violated the fundamental theorem of
numerology: "All numbers can be related to 666 in some non-trivial way." I
decided then and there to prove how wrong Mr. Wells was and to demonstrate
how deeply the number 39 is related to 666, the number of the Beast.

Having studied the number 666 for most of my life, this was not a very
difficult problem. However, even I was surprised at how many ways 666 could
be derived from 39.

The first thing I did was to square it:

39² = 1521

On the surface 1521 did not appear to be a very interesting number, but
when I broke it up into 15 and 21, I found some interesting relations. For
example:

15² + 21² = 666

When I added these two numbers together, I got:

15 + 21 = 36

Again I was faced with three sixes, but more importantly, as every school
boy knows, 36 is strongly related to 666 in another way:

1 + 2 + 3 + . . . + 35 + 36 = 666

I then took the reciprocals of 15 and 21 to determine their non-terminating
decimals. I came up with the following relations:

1/15 = 0.0666 666 666 . . .

and

1/21 = 0.0476 190 476 190 . . .,

where

476 + 190 = 666.

Next, I calculated the quotient of these two numbers, but I was a bit
disappointed because

15/21 = 0.714 285 714 285 . . .

and

714 + 285 = 999.

However, all was not lost, for 999 is just 666 turned upside down.

Having exhausted this avenue of investigation, I came back to the number
which started my analysis, 39, and looked at its reciprocal.

1/39 = 0.0456 210 456 210 . . .

and again

456 + 210 = 666.

With 666 coming up so often in these reciprocals I began to suspect that
perhaps I was dealing with some kind of mathematical law, so I checked out
a few others. Since I was investigating 666 I thought, why not look at
1/66. Just as I expected,

1/66 = 0.0151 515 151 515 . . .

and

151 + 515 = 666

I next looked at 1/81 and got:

1/81 = 0.0 123 456 79 0 123 456 79 0 . . .

Now there's a beautiful number, but unfortunately,

123 + 456 + 79 = 658.

My heart dropped in disappointment. But wait! 8 is the only digit not
appearing in the non-terminating decimal of the reciprocal of 81 and, when
I added 8 to 658, I got:

658 + 8 = 666.

As it turns out, however, it is possible to derive 666 from only a very few
of the decimal expansions of reciprocals. For example, 1/20 = 0.05. In
fact, the reciprocals of most composite numbers do not yield interesting
results with respect to 666. But this is to be expected. If you could do
this with every number, it would trivialize their beauty.

What about the reciprocals of the prime numbers? Let's briefly consider
them by looking at 7, 11, and 13.

1/7 = 0.142 857 142 857 . . .

and

142 + 857 = 999

1/11 = 0.090 909 090 909 . . .

where

090 + 909 = 999

1/13 = 0.0769 230 769 239 . . .

and

769 + 230 = 999

It seems that 999 can be derived from the decimal expansion of the
reciprocals of all prime numbers. Is this really true? I am sure that it is
and I leave it to my readers to find a counter example.

You might be disappointed that we weren't able to derive 666 from these
last decimal expansions, but since we were dealing with reciprocals, it was
only natural that 666 got inverted and became 999.

The Right Triangle of the Beast

To change directions a bit and to show you how 666 seems to feed on itself,
I would now like to ask you to find the dimensions of the "Right Triangle
of the Beast". In other words, find a solution to the equation

A² + B² = 666

where A and B are integers greater than 0.

When you see the solution, I think that you will agree that 666 has some
truly mystical properties.

The answer is:

216² + 630² = 666²

It is interesting to observe how three sixes occurs in the two terms on the
left of this equality; that is, 216 = 6³ and there are also a 6 and a 3 in
the second term 630.

Other Sums of Squares

We have already seen two sums of squares 15² + 21² and 216² + 630² that are
related to 666. Are there any other interesting sums of squares which add
up to 666? You may be surprised to learn that the sum of the squares of the
first seven prime numbers add up to 666.

2² + 3² + 5² + 7² + 11²
+ 13² + 17² = 666

What about the composite numbers between these primes? The best I could
find was the following:

4² + 6² + 8² + 9² + 10²
+ 12² + 15² = 666

All the numbers up to 17 except 1, 14, and 16. have now been used. What
happens if I take the sum of the squares of these three numbers as well as
18?

I get:

1² + 14² + 16² + 18² = 777

This is very strange indeed. The number of the Beast and Satan is 666, but
777 is the number of God. It is also well known in traditional numerology,
that 6 signifies evil and 7 signifies good.

In my studies, I have had a hard time relating 777 to other numbers (God is
truly elusive), but here He seems to be making a statement, letting us know
that He is with us in the midst of the evil that confronts us. ("For it is
through numbers that God will prove his presence and identify those who
defy Him.") Clearly, within the number system, a titanic struggle between
good and evil is taking place.

You should also note that

1 + 14 + 16 + 18 = 49 = 7 x 7,

offering more proof that these are indeed holy numbers.

Before going on, I would like to point out another interesting relationship
between 666 and 777.

666 / 777 = 0.857142857142 . . . .

and behold,

857 + 142 = 999.

Verily, we are witnesses to a titanic struggle that can turn the universe,
nay, the number system upside down.

What about the sum of cubes? Here is another beautiful relation that should
strike awe in your hearts and make true believers of you all:

1³ + 2³ + 3³ + 4³
+ 5³ + 6³ + 5³ + 4³
+ 3³ + 2³ + 1³ = 666

1998 -- The End of the World

The Beast will force all people, small and great, rich and poor, slave and
free, to have a mark placed on their right hand or on their foreheads. No
one will be able to buy or sell unless he has this mark, that is, the
Beast's name or the number that stands for his name. This calls for wisdom.
Here is the key that any intelligent person can work out: the number of the
Beast represents a man's name, and the numerical value of its letters is
six hundred and sixty six. Revelation 13:16--18

In Northern Japan, there is a village with a very strange legacy: the
inhabitants adamantly claim that 2,000 years ago, after Jesus died on the
cross and was resurrected, He came to live in their village, known as
Herai. There He lived and worked, cared for the sick and poor, married a
Japanese woman with whom He had three children, and died at the age of 111.
He was buried in Herai and his grave and that of his mother's, St. Mary,
are still in existence and well maintained. In fact, the site of these
graves is the focal point of a pilgrimage made each year on June 6 by the
faithful of a sect that believes this story as the gospel. Moreover, they
believe that Herai will become the staging area for the Rapture and the
Last Judgment. However, the members of this cult, who claim a special
relationship to Jesus, say they have no knowledge as to when these
tumultuous events will occur.

My first reaction to this was skepticism, but there were a few things which
puzzled me. One was that the name of the village, Herai, was supposed to be
a shortened form of the word "Heburai", which means "Hebrew" in Japanese.

Another interesting point was that the only artifact on display, claimed to
be a possession of Jesus, was a piece of wood with a star engraved on it.
The members of this cult believe it to be the true Star of David, but in
reality it is the five-point star, similar to the Pentacle of Satan, that
we find on the flags of America, China, the former Soviet Union, and many
other great countries.

The last point, and this is what most intrigued me, was that one of the
rituals in which all members of this cult partake during these pilgrimages
is to be anointed with a black mark on their foreheads. This immediately
brought to mind Revelation 18:13.

I decided that I would investigate this cult more closely and felt the
course of action that would yield the best result would be to engage in a
bit of clandestine archeology.

On the night of April 18, 1993, I and my colleague, Bishop Donald B.
Orsden, went to the grave of Jesus and Mary and began to dig. After digging
for about 30 minutes we came upon some bones and nine clay tablets with
engravings in Aramaic. We gathered them up, then excavated the grave of St.
Mary where we found another casket containing nine more tablets. We then
ineptly tried to restore the graves to the condition they were in before we
started our dig and fled to my home where we could carefully examine our
find.

The writings on the 18 tablets were eventually translated by the biblical
scholar and poet Dr. Yeben T. Boga. We intend to publish them in the near
future as The Gospels of St. Jesus. However, there were three passages
which are pertinent to this discussion, and I would like to present them to
you in translation. They are as follows:

Three times 666 passeth,
Thousandfold on nations,
Cometh fear and sudden death.
Everywhere are lamentations,
Sorrows from which none are comforteth.
Day by day their woes increase,
Mine alone are blest with peace.

For it is through numbers that God will prove his presence
and identify those who defy Him.

And the Righteous shall spurn the coins that are foist upon them.

This reference to coins gave me a start. For just like in the Roman Empire
during the time of Jesus, the six different kinds of coins used in Japan
add up to 666.

500 ¥ + 100 ¥ + 50 ¥ + 10 ¥ + 5 ¥ + 1 ¥ = 666 ¥

Considering the fact that Japanese money is one of the major currencies in
the world today, it seems as if the prophecies found in Revelation could be
in direct reference to Japan.

Moreover, after three epochs of 666 pass, the year will be 1998.

666 + 666 + 666 = 1998

This simple relationship alone, of course, will not convince anyone. What
should command your interest, though, is how deeply 666 is embedded in the
year 1998. For example, if we calculate the fourth power of 666, we get:

666² x 666² = 196,741,925,136

where

196 + 741 + 925 + 136 = 1998.

A coincidence you may protest. That's also what I thought, but then I
calculated 666 to the 6th power and --

666³ x 666³ = 87,266,061,345,623,616

where

87 + 266 + 061 + 345 + 623 + 616 = 1998

Well, since 6 is the number of evil, it should be expected that we would
get something ominous. Why not try raising 666 to the power of 7, the
number of God and everybody's lucky number.

666² x 666² x 666³ = 58,119,196,856,185,328,256.

Lo and behold

58 + 119 + 196 + 856 + 185 + 328 + 256 = 1998

Rather disconcerting, is it not? I would suggest that my readers examine
higher powers of 666. I am sure that you will be startled by what you will
discover.

What can we learn about the end of the world from those famous
transcendental numbers, "pi" and "e", the base to the natural logarithm. To
refresh your memory, I will write down those numbers to a few decimal
places:

e = 2.718281828 . . . .

pi = 3.1415926536 . . . .

I would first like to call your attention to the first six digits the
decimal expansion of "e": 718 and 281.

If we add them together, we get:

718 + 281 = 999,

which is 666 turn upside down.

But what about the 2 that dropped off. If we interpret the decimal point to
mean multiplication, we get:

2 x (718 + 281) = 2 x 999 = 1998

With respect to "pi", add the pairs of the first 10 places of its decimal
expansion:

14 + 15 + 92 + 65 + 36 = 222

Again interpret the decimal point to mean multiplication and we get:

3 x (14 + 15 + 92 + 65 + 36) = 666

Next, let's delve deep into pi's decimal expansion and determine the digits
from the 1,997th to the 2,001st place. Those digits are:

9 0 0 9 9

Add them together by breaking them up into their respective centuries and
we get:

900 + 99 = 999

Which again is 666 turned upside down.

What are we to conclude from this? Since it is a well-known fact that the
entire history of the world is embedded in the decimal expansion of "pi",
the only conclusion we can reach is that some catastrophic event will turn
the world order as we know it upside down in those years. Moreover, it may
turn out that those years represented by zeros, namely 1998 and 1999 will
be the most ominous. Will those be the terrible years of tribulation that
will face those poor souls who are not taken up in the Rapture.

I have spent much of my life wondering what the mark is that everybody will
need to engage in commerce during the age of the Beast. The Japanese
currency as we have seen earlier is a good candidate, but I think I may
have found an even better one: a new symbol that has just recently
appeared. It is none other than the "World Wide Web". In order to log on to
the Web, you must input the following letters:

WWW
In the Hebrew alphabet -- Hebrew, by the way, is the language of God -- "W"
(pronounced "vov") is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet and, in the
Hebraic number system, has traditional stood for the number 6, so

WWW = 666

A lot of commerce is now being conducted over the internet and in the near
future this will become the main way business is transacted. Those who do
not have a computer or internet access will not be able to log on to the
World Wide Web and will, therefore, be unable to transact business there.

The mark must be accepted by all people, small and great, rich and poor.
The mark must be easily accessible to them. It would have to be something
they took for granted, something that they must be totally oblivious too.
The World Wide Web and certain national currencies, as we shall presently
see, exactly fulfill these conditions.

But who is the Beast and how will we be able to identify him. In other
words, what numerical code must be used to translate the beast's name into
666?

We have no farther to look than a particular computer code that gives all
letters and symbols a numerical value: the ASCII code. One can find the
complete list of this code in most computer reference manuals, but for the
purpose at hand the following will suffice. The capital letters of the
alphabet are:

A=65, B=66, C=67 . . . . . .Y=89, Z=90.

Lower case letters are:

a=97, b=98 . . . . . . y=121, z=122.

I have done a computer search of prominent people -- politicians, business
leaders, etc. -- to see if any of their names add up to 666. I have found
only one person: the owner of Microsoft and the richest man in the world,
the man who goes by the name BILL GATES!

BILL = 66 + 73 + 76 + 76 = 291

GATES = 71 + 65 + 84 + 69 + 83 = 372

291 + 372 = 663

But his name adds up to only 663. I was about to move on to other prominent
persons when I remembered that Mr. Gates' grandfather and father were both
named Bill Gates, so that makes him BILL GATES, the Third. Add 3 to his
name and you will discover that his name really does adds up to 666, the
Mark of the Beast.

Of course, this may be just a coincidence, but, considering that Mr. Gates
is worth $37 billion (note that 37 is a factor of 666), I suspect that he
is aided by supernatural forces. I believe his agenda is to perfect his
control of the computer world, then, when it is irretrievably under his
control, it will be just one short step to taking over the world and
mankind.

Remember, the revised version which fixed the bug in Windows 95 came out in
1996, so

WINDOWS96 =
87 + 73 + 78 + 68 + 79 + 87 + 83 + 57 + 54 = 666

For those of you who don't use Windows, you are entrapped as well:

MS-DOS 6.21 =
77 + 83 + 45 + 68 + 79 + 83 + 32 + 54 + 46 + 50 + 49 = 666

The space between the "S" and "6" is encoded as 32 and the hyphen code is
45.

Apart from "6", "5" is another number associated with Satan, as in the
pentagram of Satan, and using the ASCII code we find that

WINDOWS = 555.

Actually, there is another individual who is better qualified for the title
"the Beast" than Bill Gates. It is none other than that great promoter of
the "information highway", our present vice president and future president
Al Gore. Here is his name in the ASCII code:

al gore = 97 + 108 + 32 + 103 + 111 + 114 + 101 = 666

It is interesting to note how he disguises this fact, taking a low profile
by using lower case letters for his name. But no matter where and how they
hide, the Beast and his minions cannot escape detection.

I am now quite sure that Al Gore is the Beast and Bill Gates is one of his
minions.

What about money. We already saw that the coins used in Japan add up to 666
¥, but the Japanese ¥ is used in only a small part of the world and, if the
prophecies in Revelations are to be fulfilled, everyone will have to use
and depend on money that contains the mark of the Beast.

Let's start with the US dollar. Its symbol, as we all know, is "$", but in
the ASCII code

$ = 36

"3" and "6"! There are those three sixes again.

In the near future, most of Europe will use a new currency called the
"Euro". This will mean that the only currencies with which you can trade
are the Euro, the yen, the dollar, and the British pound.

Let's add up the ASCII code of the symbols for these currencies:

EURO + $ + Y + L = EURO + $ + ¥ + £ =
69 + 86 + 82 + 79 + 36 + 157 + 158= 666

If my calculations are correct, it seems as if there is no escape!

Asteroid Collision with Earth

Recently, much has been written about an asteroid, code named "1997 XF 11",
that is supposed to strike Earth in the year 2028. This brought to mind the
passage in Revelation 6:12-6:17 in which the Lamb breaks the sixth seal. I
quote this passage below.

And I saw the Lamb break open the sixth seal. There was a violent
earthquake, and the sun became black like course black cloth, and the moon
turned completely red like blood. The stars fell down to the earth, like
unripe figs falling from the tree when a strong wind shakes it. The sky
disappeared like a scroll being rolled up and every mountain and island was
moved from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the rulers and the
military chiefs, the rich and the powerful, and all other men, slave and
free, hid themselves in caves and under rocks on the mountains. They called
out to the mountains and to the rocks. "Fall on us and hide us from the
eyes of the one who sits on the throne and from the anger of the Lamb! The
terrible day of their anger is here, and who can stand up against it?"
Revelation 6:12--6:17

The description of this calamity is very much like the one scientists give
to describe a collision between the earth and an asteroid or comet.

Is the asteroid "1997 XF 11" the one that will strike the earth, fulfilling
this prophecy? I did some calculations.

This asteroid was discovered on December 6, 1997 and the most recent
calculations predict that it will cross Earth's orbit on October 27, 2028.

Translating these dates into the ASCII code, where

"0"= 48, "1" = 49 . . . . . "8" = 57, "9" = 58,

and adding them, we get:

12 / 6 / 1997 10 / 27 / 2028

49 + 50 + 54 + 49 + 57 + 57 + 55
+ 49 + 48 + 50 + 55 + 50 + 48 + 50 + 56 = 777

I have a strong premonition that this asteroid has been sent by God to
destroy the evil in this world and it will fulfill the prophecy from
Revelation cited above. Do not believe the calming words of NASA, the Jet
Propulsion Laboratory, or the US government. They realize that disaster is
eminent, but they cannot afford a world-wide panic while they try to
deflect this asteroid from its orbit. But their very attempt to deflect it
will change its orbit ever so slightly and cause it to make a direct hit on
our planet. "Those who would thwart the hand of God will find a trap laid
out for them."

I end this tract by posing some questions:

1. Alan Greenspan is a man who can turn financial markets upside down. What
does his name add up to? Make a guess before doing the calculation.

2. When you make purchases on WWW and use your VISA card, how does this
invoke the number 666?

3. What is the number of the HOLY BIBLE?

Any discoveries revealing other minions of Satan or 666 relationships
should be sent to this website.
